Cricket for Everyone

The SPARTA Superstars Cricket Club is one of SPARTA's longest-established and most successful clubs, bringing together cricketers of all abilities in a friendly, inclusive and welcoming environment.

Whether you've never picked up a cricket bat before, haven't played since school, or spend every weekend turning out for your local club, Superstars offers the opportunity to enjoy the game, improve your skills and make new friends.

A Team Built on Participation

At Superstars, cricket is about much more than winning matches. The club prides itself on giving everyone the opportunity to be involved and enjoy the game.

Teams are selected on a "give everyone a game" basis rather than purely on ability, and every effort is made to ensure that all players have the chance to make a meaningful contribution, whether with bat or ball. This approach creates a supportive atmosphere where players can develop their confidence, learn new skills and enjoy the sport regardless of experience.

Regular Fixtures and Friendly Competition

Throughout the season, the club plays a varied programme of fixtures against teams from across London and beyond. Matches are competitive, but always played in the right spirit, with an emphasis on enjoyment, sportsmanship and participation.

The club is always keen to welcome new players and is equally interested in hearing from potential opponents, whether they are local teams or clubs based further afield.

Annual Cricket Tour

One of the highlights of the Superstars calendar is the annual cricket tour, held each year over the May Bank Holiday weekend.

The tour combines competitive cricket with a fantastic social atmosphere and has become a much-loved tradition among club members. It provides a great opportunity to play cricket, explore new locations and enjoy a memorable weekend with teammates both on and off the field.
