Fancy some Drama in 2026

The St James and Westminster players are the only civil service drama society and have been going for over 70 years!. So far this year we have put on one online production "An Amateur Sleuth's Casebook" which featured all original pieces around the themes of spies, detectives and espionage.

For 2026 we have two face to face productions going on, in September we will be performing Mike Leigh's "Abigail's Party" at the Civil Service Club on the 8th - 11th September, rehearsals will begin at the end of June. We have cast most of the parts but there is still one vacancy for a male actor. Please email karen.notaro@justice.gov.uk if you are interested in auditioning.

Later in the year we will also be performing "Educating Rita" by Willy Russell. Information about auditions will be released after the summer.

We are always on the look out for new people to join, whether you fancy treading the boards, or working behind the scenes on directing, writing, producing, tech or stage manager. No experience necessary either!.

Not based in London?? – No problem, we are doing a further two online productions in 2026 "Wicked Wedding" on 23rd & 25th June and then a production for Christmas full of festive fun.
