Northern Sports Day

SPARTA is always looking at ways that we can help staff based in the regions to take part in the activities that we all love. To that end we have once again teamed up the DfE to allow staff from MHCLG and DfT who are based in the regions to attend their Northern Sports Day which is taking place in Bamford near Sheffield.

If you cannot make the SPARTA Sport and Wellbeing Day on 24th July at Imber Court or are just greedy and want to attend two Sports Days (who wouldn't want that!) why not arrange to attend the DfE event.

SPARTA are pleased to say that we have negotiated with the Department of Education to get an open invitation to the DfE Northern Sports and Families Day. Details are below:

Thursday 9 July, 13:00 onwards @ Bamford Recreation Ground, Bamford, Hope Valley, S33 0DA 

Open to colleagues across the region and based in Places for Growth

Activities

We will be hosting the following events:

·       Off-road mountain biking

·       2 hour moderate hike 

·       Football tournament 

·       Rounders tournament

·       Welly wanging 

·       End of event quiz

·       Charitable catering
