Personal Safety Course under way

The SPARTA Personal Safety Course is now under way.

Over 20 staff from across DfT and MHCLG along with a few colleagues from the Home Office came together for the first two sessions of the SPARTA Personal Safety Course which is run by Stay Safe Global.

The course is 8 one hour sessions spread over 8 weeks and covers everything from how to avoid getting your phone stolen (which is much easier than you would think) to what to do if someone tried to abduct you.

By teaching you some simple skills you can escape from any number of dangerous situations.

Stay Safe Global have worked with survivors from across the world. learning from their experiences and sharing this important knowledge with those attending the course.

The course even covers self awareness in locations that may not seem dangerous but have hidden dangers that you should be aware of.
